From the 'Event' of the Ressurection to the Vision of the Risen One

Pascha, The Lord's Pascha! "Let all enjoy the banquet of the Faith." These words of St John Chrysostom resound throughout Orthodox churches at the Easter midnight Liturgy like a thunderous call. The congregation cries out together, "Christ is Risen," followed by the response, "He is Risen Indeed." This is the mystical and spiritual banquet of faith, the participation in the joy and mystery of the Resurrection of Christ.

We are all invited to experience the joy of the Resurrection, to encounter the Risen Lord, and participate in the banquet of His kingdom, so that our faith in the 'event' of the Resurrection is transformed to the vision of the Risen One.
